Book fair at Eduardo VII Park

The Eduardo VII Park is a public park in Lisbon, which host every year Lisbon's book fair. The park is located to the north of the Avenida da Liberdade and the Marquess of Pombal Square, in the centre of the city. References: Feira do Livro de Lisboa -  http://feiradolivrodelisboa.pt/

The refinery tower (Galp tower)

Refinery tower placed within a residential location near the river, at Parque das Nações. It serves as monument to the industrial past of the zone. Visits are allowed.

Glória Funicular

The Glória Funicular is a national monument links the Restauradores square with Bairro Alto since 1885 [1]. Nowadays, random graffiti lettering is often seen disrespecting a piece of Lisbon's history. Patriarchal Cathedral of St. Mary Major

The Patriarchal Cathedral of St. Mary Major (Portuguese: Santa Maria Maior de Lisboa or Sé de Lisboa) is a Roman Catholic Cathedral, the oldest church in the city. Since the beginning of the construction of the cathedral, in the year 1147, the building has been modified several times and survived many earthquakes.
